1. Service Agreement
This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which PEKO CLEANING LIMITED provides cleaning services to you. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Our services are typically provided in Northfleet and Gravesend, England. We are committed to delivering meticulous and professional cleaning solutions tailored to your specific needs.
1.1 Scope of Services: The specific cleaning tasks to be performed will be agreed upon and detailed in your personalized service quote. This may include, but is not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom sanitization, and kitchen surface cleaning. Any additional services requested outside the agreed-upon scope may incur extra charges and must be approved in advance.
1.2 Access to Property: You grant PEKO CLEANING LIMITED and its personnel access to the property at the scheduled service times. It is your responsibility to ensure the property is accessible and safe for our cleaners. If access is not provided at the scheduled time, a cancellation fee may apply.
1.3 Client Responsibilities: To facilitate efficient service delivery, please ensure all valuable or fragile items are secured or removed prior to our arrival. We also request that you remove excessive clutter to allow our team to perform their duties effectively. We use our own professional-grade cleaning products and equipment, unless otherwise agreed upon for specific needs.
2. Payment and Cancellation
Understanding our payment structure and cancellation policy ensures transparency and avoids any inconvenience.
- 2.1 Payment Terms: Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the service, or as per the agreed-upon invoicing schedule for commercial contracts. We accept bank transfers and major credit/debit cards. Late payments may be subject to a fee of 5% per week on the outstanding balance.
- 2.2 Pricing: All prices for our services are detailed in the initial quote provided. Any significant changes to the scope of work or property size may result in an adjustment to the quoted price, which will be communicated and agreed upon before work commences.
- 2.3 Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a residential cleaning appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service charge. For commercial clients, cancellation terms will be outlined in your specific contract.
- 2.4 Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred time, subject to availability.
3. Liability and Damages
At PEKO CLEANING LIMITED, we prioritize the care and safety of your property. While every precaution is taken, we have clear policies regarding liability.
- 3.1 Insurance: PEKO CLEANING LIMITED is fully insured for public liability up to £5,000,000. This insurance covers accidental damage to your property caused by our negligence during the provision of our services. Documentation of our insurance policy is available upon request.
- 3.2 Reporting Damage: In the unlikely event that damage occurs during our service, please report it to us within 24 hours of the service completion. We require photographic evidence of the damage and will arrange for an inspection. Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect our ability to process the claim.
- 3.3 Limitations of Liability: We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions in your home (e.g., loose fixtures, improperly installed items, or wear and tear). We are also not liable for damage to items that are not adequately secured or to items of sentimental value that you have not advised us to handle with extreme caution or remove prior to service. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, up to the limits of our insurance policy.
- 3.4 Lost or Stolen Items: All valuable items should be secured or removed before our arrival. We take utmost care, but PEKO CLEANING LIMITED cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items unless such loss or theft is proven to be a direct result of our staff's negligence or criminal act.
